Writing My Story, My Experiences, which is more of a diary, has been torturous and debilitating to write down. I had to revisit episodes I so much want to forget, that are still very raw with me to this day, which is why it has taken me six-years to complete, so please take this into consideration, and bear with me.
I have been through so much, “ridiculed and shamed” in the public domain, and that’s just for starters, it has been difficult and challenging for me to convince others, including medical professionals, so much so, it was necessary for me to write my story with what has happened. And perhaps now, people will start to believe me. I have been” smashed pillar to post” by the Barclay family since 2007; which has been an horrific and hazardous ordeal that has held me back on so many fronts. There were no “set of norms” with the truculent and notorious Barclay twins; with Sir David Barclay being the lead player and protagonist; who caused me so many problems and challenges to overcome for over a decade.
Sir David and Sir Frederick Barclay had “legal; and not so legal firepower” at their disposal; which kept the wolves at bay.
PUNISHMENT
The life Sir David and Sir Frederick Barclay chose to lead was not a biblical path; known to be “villainy” than “heroes”, who singled-me-out as early as October 2007 for reasons that are still alien to me to this day, which had catastrophic consequences for me. What followed was the “sudden closure” of my “bank accounts” in June 2008. The Barclay brothers later orchestrated the “theft” of my “business domain” to devastating effect; criminal damage to my Jaguar car, harassment, intimidation, unprecedented surveillance, voyeurism and then physical punishment, which followed thereafter.
Sir David Barclay was a “bloody awful and wicked man” who was both the architect and the beneficiary of A4 -pages of “malice”“ that were published in-print, and online between 2012-2021. Sir David Barclay’ssecond objective was to “assassinate my character.” He was not content with doing that until he destroyed my “financial research practice”, which produced annual profit of £300.000.00 pa (after tax) and my £1.2 Million net-worth. The fact is; Sir David Barclay unlawfully destroyed everything that was “attached to me”. The man brought me down to my knees.
PUNISHMENT
Then there were the heinous events, something like you would expect to see in the Godfather trilogy. Sir David Barclay’s behaviour can be best described as egregious; and like the Godfather; he outsourced two “ex-Army dropouts” who in-turn subjected me to levels of “harassment, intimidation and voyeurism” of the worst kind. It was pure torment. The unprecedented surveillance I had to live with during the day and through the early hours, and the “toxicity and fear” that came with it, which I can only describe as “mobster / narcissist behaviour?”.
I was ill-prepared, and neither could I have envisaged what was to follow.
Once Sir David Barclay had me financially disarmed; he then instigated “strategic oppressive vexatious litigation”; which was disproportionate and on an unlevel-playing field throughout.
Sir David Barclay evaded culpability by first “nobbling my benefactor”; which left me in an invidious position, whereby I was unrepresented. The Barclay brothers had form when it came to “pick-a-fight” who were represented by two “rottweiler French avocats”, who “ring-fenced” their client’s “wrongs” and “carried their lies”; and from the Barclays’ “arsenal” out-popped “two phoney doctor’s certificates” and a bunch of “badges of dishonour” that were intended to allure the French prosecutor of their good character in my absence?
Sir David Barclay then enforced his “French judgement obtained by unlawful means” into the London High Court; instructing a prominent Q.C. to carry-on the same narrative as his French avocats in Sir David Barclay’s absence. Sir David Barclay’s Q.C. should have taken a quote from Groucho Marx:
“These are my clients principals, and your Lordship; if you don’t like any of them, well, my client has others?”
I was then put into a “straight jacket” when Mr Justice Turner said; “I’m not interested in hearing a nine-year history”; and proceeded with Sir David Barclay’s narratives? What followed at the end of this 15-year ordeal, was a “total mental collapse”, and even after my breakdown, the “punishment continued”.
I cannot tolerate liars, and I was fighting a perpetual liar for 15-years. He was a nauseating and shameless character, a poison challis. If he wasn’t “bending and breaking the law” to suit the occasion, he would “shift the blame” onto others.

Sir David Barclay eventually made me feel trapped in a servitude state; that made my life meaningless.
In 2008 I was “out-gunned” on several fronts. However, I had the aptitude and fortitude of two-decades of “financial research experience” behind me, which enabled me to delve into the Barclay family’s past; so, I commenced researching the “explosive” Unauthorised Biography of the Barclay Brothers – “Tax? What Tax? – in my attempt to redress their behaviour.
And it wasn’t long before “I was digging-up the dead bodies” metaphorically speaking, and no doubt; the notorious Barclay brothers was getting some feedback along my treacherous journey.
It is important to note; the Barclay family reflect proudly as the former proprietors of the Telegraph Media Group; which paid £110,000 for a stolen data disc” that “dished the dirt” on the “political elite” back in 2009, and as they put it, in the “public interest.
What was also in the “public interest”, but not reported on; was David and Frederick Barclay’s colourful history? And their “dirty laundry”, which was “much dirtier” than those found in Westminter? However, their “righteousness” did not wash with me. My Story, My Experiences will tell only part of the Barclay brother’s story; which is in the “public interest”, be it, segments.
The war between the Barclay brothers and myself literally unfolded into a David vs. Goliath.
On hearing the news of Sir David Barclay’s passing back in January 2021; John Sweeney from BYLINE TIMES nailed it; and “Farewell to a Stinking Mobster”, a quote from (Lord Deeds). And Sweeney’s take on the Daily Telegraph and The Sextator obituary; “a man “whiter than white, goodlier than good, holier than thou”.
Sir David Barclay enjoyed “quoting” from “religious scriptures”; but was unable to adhere to any of them. Sir David Barclay is now “buried under a crypt” on Brecqhou”
By now, you should know what’s coming?
From my personal experience, observations, and my research on the Barclay brothers; they should have been called the “Houdini Brothers” of this world, best described as “escapee con artists, illusionists and performers”; and like “Harry Houdini”; they got away with it.
Sir David Barclay did not do debate – you do as he demanded or your done for. The man was a would-be gangster.
If you don’t have integrity, you have nothing.
Prof. Jane Martinson – “You May Never See Us Again” – October 2023. A biography on the Barclay brothers; a “good read”, and I genuinely wish her book the very best, but I say this “without malice or scorn”, the research material that I’m holding is “Tenderloin, Wagyu beef”.

Now something you did not expect to read?
Sir David and Sir Frederick Barclay have “slipped under the radar” once too often; but now the genie is out of the bag, and the best is to come! I will hand-over “all my research material” to the right “investigative journalist” who would be willing to rummage through the “dirty laundry” that comes with it, which will include numerous “revelatory moments”; which the Barclay family would best like forgotten. Piecing this all together will not be an easy “task”, even for the best “investigative journalist.” There are so many “twists and turns” and the “volume of research material I will make available to you” will overwhelm you, as it did me.
I seek No credit, No money, No reward
I just need an intensely curious “investigative journalist” to piece it all together and publish it – I want my final destiny to come true. My research material is exceptionally good, the potential could far exceed a book biography? For me to hold and read the hard copy in my hands before I die, leaving behind a now impoverished existence.
The Barclay fam….ily; now reduced to “peso paper-billionaire status” are continuing where Sir David Barclay left off; with the ongoing harassment and intimidation, which escalated to “physical harm.” It got so unbearable, on the 1st January 2024, I was forced to seek refuge, when I “informally sectioned myself” just for my own “safety.” I was literally tethering on the “brink of suicide”, which I’m still grappling with today.
- People’s rights to “free speech” are “rapidly being curtailed?”
- The “freedom of the press” is a farce, available to those who own the media, and to those with “deep pockets?”
- In my experience, “Members of the Knighthood Club”, irrespective as to whether the Knighthood was earned or “not”; and in the Barclay brother’s case, firmly in the latter category, are nevertheless judged in a better light than others.
But we still have “freedom of expression?” The right for the “public to know?” and in “defence of honest opinion?” – “The best obtainable version of the truth”.

Sir David Barclay wrote (9th January 2015): “Enshrined in Article 10 of the European Convention on Human Rights is – the right to receive opinions and information and the right to express them”. And he goes onto say; “Freedom of Expression is a cornerstone of other democratic rights and freedoms”.
